WKU recognizes 46 spring 2021 Scholars of the College

WKU recognized 46 spring 2021 graduates as Scholars of the College as part of Commencement ceremonies on May 1.

The Scholar of the College is the baccalaureate degree student in each undergraduate college with the highest cumulative overall grade-point average and a minimum of 60 semester hours earned in residence. (More: Fall 2020 Scholars of the College)

Gordon Ford College of Business

  • Kaylee Basham of Philpot is Scholar of the Gordon Ford College of Business with a major in Accounting. She is the daughter of Mike and Maria Shouse.
  • Jordan Cummings of Bowling Green is Scholar of the Gordon Ford College of Business with a major in Accounting. She is a graduate of the Mahurin Honors College and is the daughter of Melissa Green and David Cummings.
  • Lori A. Jenkins of Richmond is Scholar of the Gordon Ford College of Business with a major in Marketing. She is a graduate of the Mahurin Honors College and is the daughter of Gary and Beth Jenkins.
  • Kate Kaetzel of Santa Claus, Indiana, is Scholar of the Gordon Ford College of Business with a major in Accounting. She is the daughter of Ray and Denise Kaetzel.
  • Leah Martens of Bowling Green is Scholar of the Gordon Ford College of Business with a major in Finance. She is the daughter of Doug and Lisa Martens.
  • Kaleb Morgan is Scholar of the Gordon Ford College of Business with a major in Accounting. He is the son of Joey and Amanda Morgan.
  • Kasey Neuer of Nicholasville is Scholar of the Gordon Ford College of Business with a major in Marketing. She is the daughter of Dave Neuer and Stacia Neuer.
  • Seth Newby of Magnolia is Scholar of the Gordon Ford College of Business with a major in Finance. He is a graduate of the Mahurin Honors College and is the son of Freddie and Melissa Newby.
  • Natalie Stagoski of St. Louis, Missouri, is Scholar of the Gordon Ford College of Business with a major in Marketing. She is the daughter of Michael and Ann-Marie Stagoski.
  • Emma Warnecke of West Bloomfield, Michigan, is Scholar of two colleges, the Gordon Ford College of Business with a major in International Business and the Potter College of Arts & Letters with a major in Philosophy. She is the daughter of Jeff and Rachel Warnecke.
  • Noah Wilson of Mount Washington is Scholar of the Gordon Ford College of Business with a major in Accounting. He is the son of Greg Wilson and Patricia Lerding.
  • Frank Zheng of Quincy, Massachusetts, is Scholar of the Gordon Ford College of Business with majors in Accounting, Business Data Analytics and International Business. He is a graduate of the Mahurin Honors College and is the son of Wen Juan Chen and Yao Zheng.

  • Natalie Renae Grantz of Byrdstown, Tennessee, is Scholar of the College of Health and Human Services with a major in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She is the daughter of Robert and Sandra Grantz.
  • Kelsey Haller of Bowling Green is Scholar of the College of Health and Human Services with a major in Dental Hygiene. She is the daughter of Phil and Vicki Meredith.
  • Haleigh Harris of Central City is Scholar of the College of Health and Human Services with a major in Dental Hygiene. She is a graduate of the Mahurin Honors College and is the daughter of Deron and Lisa Harris.
  • Sam Lambert of Park Hills is Scholar of two colleges, the College of Health and Human Services with a major in Social Work and the Potter College of Arts & Letters with a major in Religious Studies. He is the son of Dianna Lambert, Vince Lambert and Elizabeth Lambert.

  • Harper Anderson of Morehead is Scholar of the Potter College of Arts & Letters with majors in Political Science, Criminology and Sociology. She is the daughter of Joe and Jennifer Anderson.
  • Amanda Beavin of Louisville is Scholar of two colleges, the Potter College of Arts & Letters with a major in Sociology and the Ogden College of Science and Engineering with a major in Geography and Environmental Studies. She is a graduate of the Mahurin Honors College and is the daughter of Andrea Beavin and Chris Beavin.
  • Ethan Berg of Crestwood is Scholar of the Potter College of Arts & Letters with majors in History and Political Science. He is a graduate of the Mahurin Honors College and is the son of Lance and Kristin Berg.
