Humanities and Social Sciences reward learners for educational excellence: Indiana University Kokomo

KOKOMO, Ind. — The Indiana University Kokomo Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences honored learners for their achievements all through the academic calendar year, through its yearly honors convocation Monday (Might 10).

Dean Eric Bain-Selbo congratulated the pupils on persevering through a tough calendar year.

“I am so happy of the way that our campus achieved all the issues, and ongoing to do what we do finest — educating the future technology of citizens,” he reported. “We are below tonight to honor those people pupils who not only persevered by the pandemic academic 12 months, but who excelled. Faculty members introduced exceptional college student awards, honored veteran graduates, and regarded scholarship recipients in the course of the digital ceremony.

English and language studies: Aaron Carver, Kokomo

College also regarded Samuel Garcia-Lopez, Monticello and Hannah Hudson, Kokomo as honors software graduates.

Safianow Scholarship: Miranda Addison and Hannah Hudson, Kokomo and Makenna Norman, Wabash

Bogle Scholarship: Maddy Guffey, Carmel

Colonial Dames Scholarship: Kate McMillan, Sheridan Hannah Hudson, Kokomo

Veteran graduates from the Course of 2020 and Course of 2021 who obtained the IU Kokomo Veteran Company Coin bundled Kellin Hardin and Michael Scott Erb, Kokomo Cassidy Jo Puglisi, LaFontaine Paul Dennis Williams Jr., Rochester and John Dennis Breen, Sheridan.
