Kim Fromkin Named Leading Higher education of Humanities and Social Sciences Graduate at VSU

Kimberly Christine Fromkin of Thomasville, Ga, is the recipient of the Spring 2021 President’s Award for Educational Excellence for the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Valdosta Condition University. VALDOSTA — Kimberly Christine Fromkin of Thomasville, Ga, is the recipient of the Spring 2021 President’s Award for Academic Excellence for the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Valdosta State University.

The President’s Award for Educational Excellence is offered to the graduating scholar with the greatest grade place average in each of VSU’s six schools — Harley Langdale Jr. College or university of Organization Administration, Higher education of Nursing and Wellbeing Sciences, School of the Arts, James L. and Dorothy H. Dewar College or university of Schooling and Human Solutions, Higher education of Humanities and Social Sciences, and School of Science and Mathematics.

Fromkin will be acknowledged through VSU’s 231st Graduation at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May perhaps 8, at Bazemore-Hyder Stadium. She will graduate summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Spiritual Scientific tests and a concentration in Women’s and Gender Scientific studies.

I took my time and planned to graduate in 6 yrs, not four. I strove to be the best me that I could be.

“Every semester came with its challenges. I seemed at each job as a new experience. I have shocked myself, actually. I exceeded my individual anticipations and constraints. I enrolled in lessons that I did not even feel I could pass, substantially fewer make an A. I took every single assignment very seriously, I questioned many questions, I acquired to know my professors, and I listened to their knowledge. I took the time to master, and I labored pretty really hard at it.

“My VSU practical experience has been incredible. I can only hope that as I go on my educational route I will face professors as fantastic as the kinds I have experienced at VSU. As a college student at VSU, Fromkin accepted invites to be a part of Phi Sigma Tau: The Global Honor Culture for Philosophers and Theta Alpha Kappa: The Nationwide Honor Society for Religious Scientific studies and Theology, and she served as a group organizer for VSU’s Undergraduate Study Council.
